Crafty Catz Challenge - Layer It Up

It's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week our theme is anything goes with the optional twist of "layer it up". Digi Doodle Studios  is our sponsor for this week and they kindly gave the team our images to play with - I've chosen to use the beautiful Bella Butterfly digi stamp. I used my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens to colour the image. The butterfly paper came free with an old issue of Papercraft Inspirations and the other patterned papers are from the Bebunni range off a Crafters Companion CD rom. I used some pink core'dinations for the mats. The part of Spellbinders adorning squares that I cut down. I added some white Nuvo drops to finish. The card size is 6"x6". Crafty Catz Challenge - One For The Girls

Hello all, hope you are well. As some of you may know, I was GDT for Crafty Catz Challenge for January. But they have asked me to stay on as part of their design team...and of course I said yes! We have a new challenge for you today - it is anything goes with the optional theme of "one for the girls". This week Star Stamps is sponsoring us, and they kindly gave us some beautiful images to play with. On my card I have used the Belle Chibi digi stamp. The digi stamp was printed onto Canson "C" à grain paper (it has a bit of a "tooth" to it so is better for use with coloured pencils than a super smooth card) and I coloured the image in using my Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils. I really enjoyed colouring this one in - I'm pretty happy with how the pleats turned out but I definitely need to practice a bit more! I inked around the edges to give more of a vintage look. Crafty Catz Challenge - Add Pearls

It's time for our new challenge to start over at Crafty Catz, and this week we are anything goes with the option to add pearls. Rick St Dennis is our sponsor this week and they kindly supplied the DT with images to use. I have coloured the image in using Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils. The cardstock used is Hunkydory, as is the foiled sentiment. I also used a Creative Expressions embossing folder onto white card.
