Hunkydory Prism Pens

Image
Today I'm sharing some of the images I coloured using the new Hunkydory Prism alcohol pens. The images are from the brand new Hunkydory Prism Colouring Pads. This final image is featured in the new Hunkydory Prism alcohol pens handbook. There are all the colours of pens used listed in the book so that you can recreate this coloured image if you want to.

Especially For You

Did you catch the launch of the new Hunkydory Prism alcohol pens yesterday? I was lucky enough to have some of my work published in the Prism alcohol pens handbook, including my flamingoes coloured image that was on the cover! Very exciting!! Today I'm sharing the last of my samples made for the recent Hunkydory Blossoming Blues collection. I created a fold back card, and have used the stamps from the collection as well as some of the papers. I stamped the roses directly onto one of the patterned papers and the leaves were stamped onto white card and coloured in using a green Hunkydory Prism ink pad. I will be entering this card into the following challenges: Lil Patch Of Crafty Friends #88 anything goes The Crafty Addicts #51 anything goes / all about boys and men 613 Avenue Create #212 anything goes / optional twist magical/fantasy

Today I'm sharing another of my cards made using the new Hunkydory Blossoming Blues Collection. I have heat embossed some of the stamps onto the patterned paper, using silver embossing powder to mimic the silver foiling in the collection. I've also used some of the foiled cardstock, tags, sentiments and embellishments from the kit. I added in some of the silver brushed mirri cardstock and some Hunkydory diamond sparkles silver metallic gemstones. Hunkydory Blossoming Blues Stamps

Image
Today I'm sharing some more of my samples made using the Hunkydory Blossoming Blues collection. These cards feature the Blossoming Blues stamp set, as well as some other elements from the collection. I used one of the inserts from the collection as my background to stamp the roses onto. I masked the roses out so that it looks like one big corner stamp (when in fact it is several different rose stamps). I coloured the images in using Hunkydory Prism inks and a waterbrush. I used the alphabet stamps to create the sentiment, and inked the edges of the piece. The butterflies are also stamps from the set. I will be entering this card into the following challenges: Polkadoodles week #33 anything goes Corrosive Challenge #8 anything goes For this card, I have stamped the rose cluster twice onto white card and twice onto one of the double sided papers (the same peachy coloured one used in the background). I coloured the leaves in on the white pieces and added some shadi

Today I've got a few more of my samples to share using the new Hunkydory Blossoming Blues collection. For this card, I've used loads of different elements from across the whole collection. I used some of the parchment over the top of one of the papers to create the background. The topper has been built up using one of the tags and a sentiment. I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: Cute Card Thursday #543 spots and dots As soon as I saw the die-cut letters, I knew I wanted to create some bunting. The base triangular shapes were cut from the matching Matt-Tastic Adorable Scorable card. I gave each letter a silver foiled drop shadow (all of the letters are part of the luxury card collection). I also used the Blossoming Blues stamp set to stamp out 2 of the butterflies and 2 of the bows and added these to the bottom of the bunting. I attached the bunting to some striped twine. Today I'm sharing one of my samples made using the new Hunydory Blossoming Blues collection that launched yesterday on Create and Craft TV. This is a stunning collection, so soft and pretty, and I had loads of fun working with it. I created an easel card for this one. I've used some of the foiled cardstock, the papers, the tags, the sentiments, the embellishments and some of the new Hunkydory silver brushed mirri card. I've also used the new Moonstone alphabet dies to cut out the name (I just went with my own name on this card as the letters fitted nicely on the panel!) I've drop shadowed the letters with some of the silver mirri. I added a few Hunkydory diamond sparkles silver metallic gemstones to finish as they work so well with the silver foiling. I will be entering this card into the following challenges: Always Happy Birthday anything birthday goes with optional water theme birthday Crafty Calendar dots and / or stripes Creatalicious #145 anythin

I will be entering this card into the following challenge: Crafty Friends #90 anything goes This card actually uses the Santa Claus  stamp set, but I chose to use only the small holly embellishment stamp (as well as a sentiment) from the set, instead of the main Santa Claus image. I have coloured the holly in by watercolouring with the Prism ink pads. Christmas Rose Lantern

Image
Today I'm sharing 2 cards that have both been made using the For The Love Of Stamps Christmas Rose Lantern stamp set. This set has to be one of my favourites from the whole release - I so love the lantern stamp, but the flowers themselves are also stunning and great for building up corsages on cards. I've also used the co-ordinating masks on this card. I have coloured the stamped images in using a combination of Hunkydory Prism pearlescent powders and Prism inks. The red "ribbon" has been created by painting the red pearlescent powder onto white card (it's actually very sparkly in real life!). I will be entering this card into the following challenge: Polkadoodles week #32 anything goes On this card, I have used the Hunkydory masking sheets to create the effect that the flowers are overlapping each other. I have once again coloured the images in using Prism ink pads and a brush with water. I will be entering this card into the following challeng

Let It Snow

Image
I've got another of my For The Love Of Stamps Christmas launch samples to share today. This card isn't my usual style but I had great fun making it and am pretty pleased with how it turned out! For this card, I have used the  Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set and  mask with the Hunkydory Prism inks. I created the "snow" sentiment by inking through the mask, then stamping through the mask multiple times (over the top of the inked letters) using one of the smaller dotty stamps from the set. The "let it" sentiment is part of a "let it snow" stamp in the set, and I've just masked out the "snow" part. I've added some Tonic Studios Nuvo white crystal drops to finish. I will be entering this one into the following challenges: A Bit More Time To Craft #73 anything goes Lemon Shortbread #73 anything goes Polkadoodles week #31 anything goes

Pauline is back at 3pm showcasing these gorgeous new stamps so be sure to tune in! This card is a stepper card, and it was actually the first time I made a card in this style! I have used the Carolling Cuties stamp set and mask. I used the Hunkydory Prism inks with the blending tool and mask to create the background and also used a waterbrush with the inks to colour the stamped images in. I cut the stamped images out by hand. I used Hunkydory masking sheets to mask out the lamp post and Christmas tree in the background to give depth. The only card used here is the Hunkydory white ink me! card. I will be entering this card into the following challenges: Crafting From The Heart #217 anything goes Crafting With Friends #72 anything goes Polkadooles week #30 anything goes
