Christmas Rose Lantern

Today I'm sharing 2 cards that have both been made using the For The Love Of Stamps Christmas Rose Lantern stamp set. This set has to be one of my favourites from the whole release - I so love the lantern stamp, but the flowers themselves are also stunning and great for building up corsages on cards.




I've also used the co-ordinating masks on this card. I have coloured the stamped images in using a combination of Hunkydory Prism pearlescent powders and Prism inks. The red "ribbon" has been created by painting the red pearlescent powder onto white card (it's actually very sparkly in real life!).

On this card, I have used the Hunkydory masking sheets to create the effect that the flowers are overlapping each other. I have once again coloured the images in using Prism ink pads and a brush with water.

Hello all, hope you are well. As some of you may know, I was GDT for Crafty Catz Challenge for January. But they have asked me to stay on as part of their design team...and of course I said yes! We have a new challenge for you today - it is anything goes with the optional theme of "one for the girls". This week Star Stamps is sponsoring us, and they kindly gave us some beautiful images to play with. On my card I have used the Belle Chibi digi stamp. The digi stamp was printed onto Canson "C" à grain paper (it has a bit of a "tooth" to it so is better for use with coloured pencils than a super smooth card) and I coloured the image in using my Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils. I really enjoyed colouring this one in - I'm pretty happy with how the pleats turned out but I definitely need to practice a bit more! I inked around the edges to give more of a vintage look. Crafty Catz Challenge - Black and White

Our new challenge starts today at Crafty Catz , and this week we are anything goes with the optional theme of Black and White. Our generous sponsor is Crafty Sentiments. I had a bit of a play for the first time with my new Scan n Cut CM900 when I was making this card. I cut some of the mats and layers out on the machine, as well as the flowers and leaves. I must say I am impressed with it so far! The centre die is Sue Wilson's Oslo die, with her Happy Birthday Mini Expressions die in the middle. I cut the sentiment 3 times in black card and layered them up to make it more 3D. I have also used Sue Wilson's Diamond Squares background and the Jubilee Petite Striplet for the decorative edges. Some Cosmic Shimmer aurora twinkles glitter glue and some Nuvo oyster white pearl drops were added to finish. Hunkydory Prism Watercolour Pencils

Today I'm sharing my samples made using the brand new Hunkydory Prism watercolour pencils. I had such fun working with these pencils as I'd not used watercolour pencils in quite a long time, and these pencils were just a joy to use. This card uses one of the new FTLOS watercolour wonders stamp sets as well as some of the older FTLOS stamp sets for the butterflies and bees. I've also used one of the watercolour wonders stamp sets for this easel card I've used masking with one of the new watercolour wonders stamp sets to create this DL card. This card uses the FTLOS Fly Away With Me stamp set. I've used the FTLOS Up, Up and Away stamp set on this CAS card.   I've stamped the FTLOS Lovely Lilies onto kraft card for this card.
