Dog Card

I am very excited to say that some of my cards are featured in the latest issue (Issue 57) of Creative Stamping magazine, which is out today! The projects have been created using the "Technically Awesome" stamps by For The Love Of Stamps and I will post them on the blog over the next week.


I'm sharing another card made using the Hunkydory Return Of The Little Paws collection. It really is such a cute collection and I had so much fun playing with the stamps and paper pad.




I have used the Paws and Petals and Just Fur You stamp sets on this card and coloured using Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils. The patterned papers are from the coordinating 8"x8" paper pad. I have also used a Hunkydory white 5"x5" card blank, For The Love Of Stamps white ink me! card, kraft stamping card and Hunkydory Adorable Scorable matt-tastic card.




I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

Crafty Catz Challenge - One For The Girls

Hello all, hope you are well. As some of you may know, I was GDT for Crafty Catz Challenge for January. But they have asked me to stay on as part of their design team...and of course I said yes! We have a new challenge for you today - it is anything goes with the optional theme of "one for the girls". This week Star Stamps is sponsoring us, and they kindly gave us some beautiful images to play with. On my card I have used the Belle Chibi digi stamp. The digi stamp was printed onto Canson "C" à grain paper (it has a bit of a "tooth" to it so is better for use with coloured pencils than a super smooth card) and I coloured the image in using my Spectrum Noir Colourblend pencils. I really enjoyed colouring this one in - I'm pretty happy with how the pleats turned out but I definitely need to practice a bit more! I inked around the edges to give more of a vintage look. Hunkydory Prism Watercolour Pencils

Today I'm sharing my samples made using the brand new Hunkydory Prism watercolour pencils. I had such fun working with these pencils as I'd not used watercolour pencils in quite a long time, and these pencils were just a joy to use. This card uses one of the new FTLOS watercolour wonders stamp sets as well as some of the older FTLOS stamp sets for the butterflies and bees. I've also used one of the watercolour wonders stamp sets for this easel card I've used masking with one of the new watercolour wonders stamp sets to create this DL card. This card uses the FTLOS Fly Away With Me stamp set. I've used the FTLOS Up, Up and Away stamp set on this CAS card.   I've stamped the FTLOS Lovely Lilies onto kraft card for this card. Crafty Catz Challenge - Layer It Up

It's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Catz and this week our theme is anything goes with the optional twist of "layer it up". Digi Doodle Studios  is our sponsor for this week and they kindly gave the team our images to play with - I've chosen to use the beautiful Bella Butterfly digi stamp. I used my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens to colour the image. The butterfly paper came free with an old issue of Papercraft Inspirations and the other patterned papers are from the Bebunni range off a Crafters Companion CD rom. I used some pink core'dinations for the mats. The part of Spellbinders adorning squares that I cut down. I added some white Nuvo drops to finish. The card size is 6"x6".
