Mouse Card

Today I'm sharing a cute little mouse card - I really love this stamp!

The mouse stamp came free with an old issue of Papercraft Inspirations and is coloured with coloured pencils. I edged that piece with some chalk pastels to make is slightly off-white at the edges. I added hessian behind for some texture. The doily die is one of my favourites, from Sara's Signature Shabby Chic collection, and boy do I use that die a lot! The flowers are all die cut or cut with punches, inked and shaped by hand. The little sprigs are cut using Sue Wilson's olive branch dies. A few Tonic Nuvo drops were added to the corners of the card and the centres of the flowers.

I will be entering this one into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday #511 anything goes
Allsorts Challenge #449 something new (the green patterned paper was from a new paper pad)
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends #73 anything goes

I've got a busy month of crafting coming up, with plenty of design team makes to get on with, but some lovely products to play with. I've also just organised all my dies and Spectrum Noir pens - all the dies are now on magnetic sheets and all my new pens are in fabric cases. I do love organising my craft stuff! Have a good week, thanks for stopping by.

  2. Beautiful card using this adorable image. I do love it when you get something useful with a magazine and not just those shiny papers (which just hit the trash). Lovely colouring and thanks for sharing with us over at Lil Patch of crafty friends this month.
