Daffodils

I'm sharing a lovely bright card today that would be perfect for a spring birthday.




The daffodil stamp is by For The Love Of Stamps from their new Birth Flowers release, and is coloured with watercolour pencils. I die cut it out using Sue Wilson's pierced oval dies and lightly inked through the die with yellow ink to give it a slight frame. I die cut a larger oval in kraft and inked the edges to be the mat for the stamped image. The backing paper is from the beautifully bright Perfect Backgrounds stamping pad by For The Love Of Stamps. The strip of yellow paper was stamped with the daffodil in Versafine to give a subtle watermark effect. The wavy border is a Die'sire die. I added the sentiment from the same set and some gold gems to finish.
